Blythe Campbell is retired communications professional with more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications, finance, energy, engineering, government, and nonprofit sectors. She has been an Apple user since buying her Mac SE in 1987, and an iPhone user since they debuted in 2007. Blythe augments her personal experience with plenty of suggestions from her adult children (“mom, you need to learn to text with your thumbs”). She has successfully taught her in-laws and her father, all in their 90s, enough about their computers, iPads and iPhones to function in today’s connected world, while keeping them from falling victim to assorted scams and pushy relatives.
