Have you ever looked at your old printed photos—yours or your parents’—and wondered what to do with them? Wouldn’t it be great if you could digitize these memories, making them easy to access and share with loved ones? Maybe you also have paper documents you wish were digital and searchable.
The Tech Club has the Epson FastFoto FF-680W Scanner, which quickly scans both pictures and documents. This scanner can process a photo’s front and back in one pass and even creates an enhanced digital version as it scans—at speeds of about one photo per second. For documents, it scans both sides at once and produces a searchable PDF, again at nearly a page per second.
This scanner isn’t an industrial model but is instead user-friendly and made for individual consumers. All Tech Club members who attend a training session are welcome to use the scanner. The next class will be held on Friday, April 17, 2025, at 9 am in the Tech Lab. This session gives you a chance to see the scanner’s features and decide if it fits your needs. Once you’ve completed the class, you can sign up to reserve time to use the scanner.
